Building Thriving Marriages & Families for a Stronger Community

Thriving Families of Clark County formed in 2005 as partners within a regional Marriage & Family Community Transformation Plan strategy.  Our identity is found in our name - promoting thriving marriages & families as the foundation towards a stronger community.

We are organizing around a “Multi-Sector, Community Partnership” model whereby faith-based, business, government, medical / mental health, social services, education and other institutional sectors collaborate in working toward a common vision of improving family life through stronger marriages.

The current TFCC task force is comprised of business, community and church leaders devoted to making Clark County a stronger community by turning the tide on divorce.  More than 15 multi- and non-denominational churches cooperated in launching our inaugural event in February 2006.

TFCC continues to network in building the community's capacity through a broad cross-section of community groups & organizations committed to strengthening marriages and families in Clark County.  We are currently inventorying programs and ministries through an Asset-Mapping process that will serve to raise awareness of and access to family and marriage strengthening services.
